CSI: Austin is a licensed interactive simulation in Second Life(R).  The teaching technique used is an incorporation of the internet with Second Life(R) as a modality to teach using analytical software to track each avatars movement and how they react in a situation.  This is a rough mock up of the ideal simulation.  With more proficient scripters and more free time than a pharmacy student has interactive in world characters would be used to better guide and facilitate the learning.
